How we work with staff to develop sessions or resources to support students’ academic skills development. The Academic Skills team has some capacity to work with Academic Cohort Leads and other staff to develop sessions or resources to support students’ academic skills development. Sessions work best when they are co-developed and co-delivered by a member of staff from the School or Programme. Normally, Programmes take ownership of any sessions or resources developed and take responsibility for maintaining and adapting these. To enquire about team availability please email academic.skills@ed.ac.uk Adapt Study Hub resources for your students Study Hub is the home of our open access learning resources, offering practical advice and strategies for effective learning and studying. Study Hub offers guidance on various topics including Academic Writing, Critical Thinking, Time Management, Effective Studying, Group Working and Dissertations. These resources are freely available to be used by staff directly or adapted for their teaching (CC Licence BY-NC-4.0). Most Study Hub topic pages include links to further information in the form of pdf downloads or templates. The original versions of these resources are available for staff to access through our Teams site ‘Study Hub Resources for Staff’. These resources may also be useful for students in peer learning and support roles. The Teams site also provides a means for anyone involved in supporting students' academic skills development to share practice and ask questions.
